This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we disclose it to, how long we keep it, and what choices you have. It applies to our website, our booking and coordination process, and all communications we have with you, including email, phone, and text message.

Our position, stated plainly

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, license, or otherwise release it to third parties for their own purposes. We do not share it with anyone for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not use it to build advertising audiences or profiles.

This applies to every category of information described in this policy, and it applies without exception to mobile phone numbers and text messaging consent records.

  • Accessibility, dietary, or medical accommodation requests that you choose to share with us so we can operate the flight safely and comfortably
  • Billing contact information. Payment card and bank account details are collected and processed by our payment processor and are not stored on ENG Aviation systems
  • Information you submit if you apply for employment with us
  • The content of any message you send us by web form, email, or text message

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, the page that referred you, and the date and time of your visit
  • Cookie and similar identifiers, as described in Section 8

2.3 Information we receive from others

  • From charter brokers, corporate travel managers, and executive assistants who arrange travel on a passenger’s behalf
  • From hospitals, transplant centers, and organ procurement organizations coordinating a recovery or transport mission
  • From aircraft owners and their representatives in connection with managed aircraft
  • From identity verification, background screening, and regulatory databases where required for crew, contractors, or compliance purposes

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect only for the following purposes:

  • To quote, book, coordinate, and operate flights, ground transportation, and related services
  • To communicate with you about a trip, including confirmations, aircraft and crew assignments, FBO and ramp instructions, departure and arrival updates, delays, weather, and schedule changes
  • To coordinate with hospitals, organ procurement organizations, transplant teams, ground providers, FBOs, and handlers on mission logistics
  • To meet our safety, security, and regulatory obligations
  • To invoice you and collect payment
  • To respond to your questions, requests, and complaints

  • To maintain and improve our website and services
  • To evaluate applications for employment

We do not use your information for behavioral advertising, targeted advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

4. Text Messaging (SMS and MMS)

4.1 What our text messaging program is, and what it is not

ENG Aviation uses text messaging exclusively for operational, customer care, and trip coordination purposes. Typical messages include trip confirmations, aircraft and crew assignments, FBO and ramp instructions, departure and arrival updates, delay and weather notifications, schedule changes, document and information requests, and time-sensitive coordination on organ recovery and transplant missions.

No marketing, ever

ENG Aviation does not send marketing, promotional, advertising, or solicitation text messages of any kind. We do not maintain an SMS marketing list, we do not run text message campaigns, and we do not use text messaging to promote services, pricing, or offers.

4.2 How consent is obtained

We send text messages only to individuals who have given express prior consent to receive them. Consent is obtained in one or more of the following ways:

  • Verbally, during a quoting, booking, or trip coordination call, when you confirm that you agree to receive text messages at the number you provide. The consent is recorded in our operational system together with the date and time, the mobile number, and the ENG Aviation team member who obtained it.
  • By website form, when you check a box on engaviation.com agreeing to receive text messages at the number you provide.
  • By texting us first, when you initiate a text message conversation with an ENG Aviation number.
  • In writing, in a charter agreement, aircraft management agreement, service agreement, or comparable document.

Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of purchase and is not required to request a quote, book a flight, or receive any ENG Aviation service.

4.3 Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies and depends on your trip activity. Message and data rates may apply according to your plan with your mobile carrier. ENG Aviation does not charge you for text messages.

4.4 How to stop receiving text messages, and how to get help

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation message and will then receive no further text messages from that program. You may also opt out by calling 713-649-1919 or emailing ITsupport@engaviation.com.

Opting out of text messages does not affect our ability to reach you by telephone or email regarding a trip, and it does not cancel or change any booking.

For assistance, reply HELP to any message, call 713-649-1919, or email ITsupport@engaviation.com.

Message delivery is not guaranteed. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

4.5 Mobile information and text messaging consent are never shared

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Mobile telephone numbers and text messaging consent records are used by ENG Aviation only, and by the licensed communications provider that transmits messages on our behalf. That provider is contractually prohibited from using this information for any purpose other than delivering our messages, and is prohibited from selling, sharing, or marketing against it.

5. When We Disclose Information

We do not sell, rent, trade, license, or otherwise release personal information to third parties for their own purposes, and we never disclose it for marketing or promotional purposes. We disclose information only in the following limited circumstances, and only to the extent necessary:

Operational partners
Flight crews, FBOs, ground handlers, catering, ground transportation providers, and customs and immigration facilitators receive only the information required to execute the trip.
Medical and transplant partners
Hospitals, transplant centers, organ procurement organizations, and transplant coordinators receive only mission-related logistics information.
Service providers under contract
Our flight operations and scheduling platform, communications provider, payment processor, accounting system, and IT and security providers. Each is bound by written agreement to use the information only to provide services to ENG Aviation, and is prohibited from using it for its own purposes.
Aircraft owners
For managed aircraft, owners receive reporting on flights conducted on their aircraft as required by their management agreement.
Government and regulatory authorities
The FAA, TSA, DOT, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, foreign civil aviation and customs authorities, and law enforcement, where required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other lawful request, or where necessary to protect safety of flight.
Insurers and professional advisors
In connection with a claim, incident investigation, audit, or legal matter.
A successor entity
If ENG Aviation is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction and will remain subject to this policy.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from every category in this table and are not shared with any third party for any purpose other than message delivery.

6. How We Protect Information

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit, role-based access controls limiting information to personnel who need it, multi-factor authentication on business systems, security review of vendors that handle personal information, and periodic staff training on data handling and privacy.

No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. How Long We Keep Information

We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or for as long as required by law, whichever is longer.

  • Flight, crew, and operational records are retained for the periods required by FAA regulations and our records program.
  • Financial and billing records are retained for the periods required by applicable tax and corporate law.
  • Text messaging consent and opt-out records are retained for as long as we message you, and for a reasonable period afterward, in order to evidence compliance with telecommunications regulations.
  • Website analytics data is retained on a rolling basis and is not linked to an identified individual.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

8. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website uses a limited set of cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function and to understand aggregate site usage, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrive. We do not use our website to build advertising audiences, to enable cross-site tracking by advertising networks, or to sell or share information with advertisers.

You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to alert you when a cookie is set. Some parts of the site may not function properly if you do. We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, where required by law.

9. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights under state privacy law, including in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy statutes. These rights generally include:

  • The right to know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it

  • The right to request deletion, subject to records we are required by law to retain
  • The right to opt out of the sale of personal information, of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and of targeted advertising
  • The right to not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights
  • The right to appeal a decision we make about your request

ENG Aviation does not sell personal information, does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and does not engage in targeted advertising. There is accordingly nothing for you to opt out of in those categories. Every other right listed above is available to anyone who asks, regardless of the state they live in.

To exercise a right, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will respond within 45 days, or tell you why we need additional time. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of that authorization.

10. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children online. ENG Aviation does carry minor passengers, and any information about a minor passenger is provided to us by a parent, legal guardian, or authorized adult for the purpose of safely operating the flight.

ENG Aviation is based in the United States, and information we collect is processed and stored in the United States. If you access our services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your home country.
